Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary. The Office of Congressman Addison McDowell reserves the right to adjust the frequency of messages at any time, increasing or decreasing the total number of messages sent. Additionally, the office reserves the right to change the phone number from which messages are sent.

Not all mobile devices or handsets may be supported, and messages may not be deliverable in all areas. The Office of Congressman Addison McDowell, its service providers, and the mobile carriers supported by the program are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cancellation

If you no longer wish to receive messages from a Program, you agree to text the applicable Short Code (or regular long code phone number where applicable) or directly reply to any mobile message received from a Program with STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT at any time. You may receive an additional message confirming your decision to opt out.

You understand and agree that these are the only reasonable and exclusive methods of opting out. Any other method, including but not limited to texting other words or phrases or verbally requesting removal, is not a valid means of opting out. If subscribed to multiple Programs across different Short Codes or long codes, you must separately text or reply STOP to each to unsubscribe.

Support

For support regarding the Program, text HELP to the applicable Short Code or long code, or call us at (202) 225-3065. Please note that texting HELP is not a valid method for opting out; opt-outs must follow the procedures outlined above.
