McDowell Brings Faith, Family and Community Leaders Together for Values Roundtable
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Congressman Addison McDowell today hosted faith, family, education and community leaders for an important discussion in Kannapolis, bringing local voices directly into the conversation on some of the most important issues facing families.
The discussion focused on parental rights and education, religious liberty, life and pro-family policies, and protecting kids online.
The “Values Roundtable” marks the third issue-focused roundtable McDowell has led, following his Prosecuting the Poison roundtable focused on fentanyl and drug trafficking and his Agriculture Roundtable focused on the needs of North Carolina farmers and the agriculture industry.
“Today I heard directly from parents, pastors and community leaders about the challenges facing our families,” said Congressman McDowell. “We discussed issues that are near and dear to my heart - like protecting children from online predators and making sure parents always have a say in their kid’s education. I’m extremely thankful for everyone who joined the conversation. These discussions inform the work I do in Washington.”
McDowell’s roundtable series brings local leaders together to discuss the issues they see firsthand and take those concerns back to Congress.

The Values Roundtable focused on parental rights, religious liberty, protecting life, supporting families and keeping kids safe online.
