Trump Signing HALT Fentanyl Act

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Congressman Addison McDowell (NC-06) joined President Donald J. Trump at the White House for the signing of the HALT Fentanyl Act, a vital piece of legislation that permanently schedules fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I drugs and equips law enforcement with the critical tools needed to bring down drug traffickers.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Addison McDowell today announced the start of the 2025 Congressional App Challenge for North Carolina’s 6th District, inviting middle and high school students to design and code their own original apps.

 

The competition is open to students who live or attend school within North Carolina’s 6th Congressional District. Apps may be built using any programming language. Submissions are due by October 30th and will be judged by a panel of local tech experts.
